Sliver and Gold

So you have most likely heard this as well, "You can't eat Silver or Gold". What is it that people fear about stocking up on Silver and Gold? You are correct you can't eat precious metals, but it trades very well and has for over 5000 years. Out of any currency Gold and Silver has out lasted every other currency known to man. Let me put it to you this way. You need a new generator. The person who has a generator that is willing to part with it needs 200lbs of rice. If you do not have that rice, most likely you are not walking away with a generator and that person goes without rice. So what do we do? Is that man going to lug a generator around in order to find 200lbs of rice? Are you going to go running around trying to find someone with rice that is willing to barter with you for something you have? Not likely. This is where gold and silver come in to play. Like the currency we currently trust we use that to buy items and we sell our goods with the same expectations. So if you are stocking up a ton of alcohal or toilet paper in hopes that you will be the only person with it, pray you are right and don't get upset when people don't offer you as much as you expect for your bartering items.

Prepping goes Main Stream Media causing problems.

Well I can't say I have missed a week of Dooms Day Prepper, if I did I would be lying. Not saying it’s not a lot of fun to laugh about but all this attention has cost the real preppers more than most know. Looking back before Prepping became a household past time most preppers found themselves to be a very select few. Prepping items such as ammunition, MRE’s, Heirloom seeds and other common survival items where cheap to buy before mainstream popularity, but now have almost doubled in price. Not to mention the security we had before these people went public. Before we really weren’t on any government watch list, now we are considered terrorists for storing more than a week’s worth of food in our home. Some preppers who have been on the show have been targeted by Doctors, FBI agents and ruthless thugs wanting what you have. This puts most of us in danger as well once people see what we are doing and they wise up and realize they are behind the curve and want to take the quick way ahead.

Bugging out was a term many thought was what someone did when they went nuts, now everyone knows it’s getting out of dodge. Before mainstream media took notice preppers had set plans to move out into less populated areas. We now have to deal with more people wanting to bug out causing us more congestion on our roads and for some national parks. More people plan on running for the hills and when they get there they are going to have to deal with a hoard of newbie preppers trying to butt in on the action. Not to mention the number of people who think they are survivalist come out and get into trouble and want your help.

The media has also done a great job of making most of us look like complete idiots. They bring in so called experts who say it’s unlikely the sky is going to fall even when we have irrefutable evidence that it has already begun to fall. I don’t know if they do this so that they do not cause a panic or if they do it to make us look stupid but either way it’s causing conflict with veteran preppers.

Now we have internet sites popping up everywhere and books upon books of information flooding the shelves it becoming overwhelming for one person to take. Some will say this is the way to live off the grid and criticize other people’s methods and in reality are giving out false information in the process and the typical city slicker doesn’t know any better. Couch Rangers are popping up everywhere on the internet; Facebook groups and blogs are jammed packed with these idiots telling others they know everything and that we know nothing of survival. Be aware of these people, they are the people who repeat the same garble that is widely spread over the internet. Just because you learned how to make a Dakota Fire pit doesn’t make you an expert at fire making. Everyone should learn the basics but basics are just that, “basic information to keep your ass alive for short term”. It’s not going to be paradise, most days will suck and this is what no couch ranger will tell you. Learning more advance skills from professionals who actually do this kind of stuff on a day to day basis will help you more than reading the same garbage over and over on the internet.

THE REVIEWERS, these people are the ones who post nothing but reviews of what they tested a day prior. Can’t tell you how boring it is to watch someone open their product up for the first time on YouTube just to show off what they got from a sucker wanting to promote their product. These videos are a waste of internet space and time. They fill up your wasted day with more useless crap. Watch more than a few of these videos and you are going to fall way behind the curve.

THE GUN NUTS, I can’t stand a person who has no common sense when it comes to gun safety. Even on Dooms Day Preppers a man shot his own finger off because he wasn’t practicing safety. This type of action looks bad on the real Prepper community because it show the incompetence most people have when it comes to gun safety and it points fingers at us real Preppers. I think it’s great you want to teach your son to fire a gun but doing it in such a manner than put everyone at risk is just careless. I agree that practice makes perfect, but lack of supervision is a poor decision on these peoples part.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is no right or wrong way to prepping and it’s not a cookie cutter type of lifestyle. To each person survival is a different thing. You may be able to survive with just a knife in the woods while the next guy may need one of everything from your local Sporting goods store to survive in the city. Everyone is different and their needs are based off their skill set and mind frame. Someone who has lived off of the dependence of the government all their life may not be capable of living a rugged life style in the woods with a Rambo knife. You will have to watch out for these people, because they will be the first to fail when their Chinese piece of crap gear fails and they are stranded and helpless or even worse a danger to you and I when they come for your gear or goods.

Army Time

Built this in about 2 days. It was a standard clock that I had to sand, stain and build myself that I got from the VA. I added the army medalion, the EIB, the 50 cal bullets and burnt in the Army strong logo. Polished the bullets with Mothers now they look better than new.

Why I feel any true Muslim is evil

Qu'ran 8:39 "And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion should be only for Allah."

Anyone who follows this bible believes you should kill all nonbelievers. Muslims are not peaceful people.
